Providence Park has all the charm of a stadium that has been holding its own for 80 years...and that is because it has. First hosting a variety of sporting events (including greyhound racing) then being converted into a baseball stadium, & finally being returned to a fully enclosed stadium bowl. With that history comes the quirks, like a little known stream that runs under the stands we'll be sitting in, and the Athletic Club which stands over the southern end of the pitch with a high up grandstand built into its side like the rooftops at Wrigley. Its beautiful wooden roof covers a majority of the seats and creates seating areas truly worthy of the name grandstands. Now it is our job to come into this lovely place, and burn every timber with our support for our FIRE!
