Chicago's Red & White: 2011 Supporters' Holiday Party

The holiday season starts earlier every year, it seems, with garlands and lights often sharing space with cutouts of turkeys and jack-o-lanterns. Section 8 Chicago has an established tradition of post-holiday parties, but this year we're following suit with the rest of the world and bumping our party up to an earlier date.

All Fire fans and supporters are invited to our holiday party at Union Park Lounge, 228 S. Racine in the West Loop neighborhood on Saturday, December 17 at 7PM. We have the entire bar reserved so we'd like to pack the place with Fire fans to share in off-season cheer. There will be a free buffet of appetizers and mini-sandwiches including many vegetarian options. We'll have classic Fire matches on the TVs and a DJ will be spinning tunes to establish a nice groove for the evening.

In addition to the buffet, we're running a food drive to benefit our friends at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. We've worked with the Depository during previous holiday seasons, and for the holiday party any fans that bring donations of non-perishable food items will receive a ticket good for a free drink at UPL.

UPL is conveniently located just north of the CTA Blue Line Racine stop, or if you're driving there is ample free parking available in the Lounge's parking lots on Jackson just north of Racine or at Sherman and Wiliams.
