New Year's Day Section 8 Soccer Tournament

Be a part of a fun, coed adult soccer tournament on Sunday 1/1/12 at ChiTown Indoor soccer in Pilsen, organized by Section 8 Chicago. All Fire fans are welcome to sign-up teams - supporter groups, teams of independents, your ten best friends: whatever works. Registration is only $50 for a team before 12/25 ($75 after), and the winning team will win a prize courtesy of Section 8 Chicago.

The tournament will run for two hours from 5pm to 7pm on a round-robin basis on two fields (5x5 + keepers), so there'll be plenty of playing time to go around.

Groups who have designs for banners but lack space for painting should get on this, too. Chitown has an enormous room that we can use for painting banners or constructing other tifo. There are giant walls to project images for tracing and plenty of room to spread out and work. We'll be working to finish up a large display for the coming season, as well.

So work off your hangover and come on out for some soccer!
